193 Days to go...you must be thinking, "how long has she been putting off writing on this thing??"
Well hold on, hold on - please table any criticisms or comments on my newly found blogging style until you hear my side of the story.
This isn't a wedding blog.
This isn't a mushy wedding website for me to post 1,000 pictures of my ring or to divulge my entire life story, my fiance's entire life story, and the groom's 15th groomsman's entire life story.
This isn't a place for me to plan my perfect wedding start to finish in a completely organized fashion with no changes, additions, or problems (because anyone who has ever been on Team Bride knows the before written is utterly impossible...).
Instead,
This IS a space for ideas, planning, and preparing for the wedding
without fear of judgment, criticism or failure - because hey, we're
all on the same team here!
This IS a space for everything else wedding related. Inspiring fashions, laughable faux pas, troubling In-Laws, teary-eyed traditions and surviving the mess of it all - to finally get down the aisle and meet my best friend at the altar.
My fiance Ryan just popped the question in late February of 2012. After a overwhelming yes and an incredible few weeks - we've definitely made some progress and crossed the biggest obstacle...the date!
This big day will be a quick 6 months away - OCTOBER 13th, 2012 and the countdown is on!
Our story is romantic, our lives are private, and our style is simple. Fingers crossed the wedding can remain that way too!
